reddragdiva: (domesticity)
[personal profile] reddragdiva

Lovely date with [livejournal.com profile] nyecamden on Sunday. We will probably be going to an '80s-'90s indie pop disco on Friday. I have been asked not to wear a skirt and stockings. Hrmph!

Nye started teaching me how to pose for photos, so I don't gurn every bloody time. He used to go out with a photographer, so is quite accomplished at photogenicity. I think I'll get there. Apparently I should spend hours practicing poses in a mirror. I've also been wearing my hat again, the one [livejournal.com profile] redcountess got me for my 34th birthday. It's had the crap beaten out of it, but I like it.

Bloody exhausted (though New Relationship Energy bounce is very nice). Liz is exhausted too, but the N410c is behaving very well with XP. The teenagers are settling in and getting their room organised. Freda is touchy at all the changes and the boxes moving around but is still the best little girl ever. [livejournal.com profile] arkady is so delighted to have all her daughters living with her.

(I had the overwhelming urge to title this post "I want to hold your cock." Not the thing for a domesticity post, so I'll put it here.)

My conformity is showing! I feel suitably chastised :-(

After you have learned how to pose I will have to teach you how to not pose. This will probably take longer, and may involve me giving you even more attention. The horror!

You know, it was [livejournal.com profile] reddragdiva who taught me how to pose, and I'm now really bloody good at it and have a modeling job lined up and everything. Which is ironic. It never occurred to me to try and teach him back [grin]

How not to pose

You need to be photographed a lot on a number of occasions. Eventually you will get used to not posing for the camera unless you/the photographer wants you to. This is how it worked for me anyway. Photographing you doing stuff will probably help, then you can concentrate on the activity and not the camera.

I'm sure it's possible!

What about skirts without stockings? Or stockings and shorts?

(Who told you no skirts and stockings anyway?)

Me. I am really anxious about going to the club in the first place, and just wanted to *fit in*. My bad.

I don't know whether to kiss you or kill you

[livejournal.com profile] diskerror has been doing medium format photography for a couple of years now, and his birthday's coming up, so I am now the proud winner of this ebay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390006230313), which I bid on 8 minutes before it closed and was the only bidder. Talk about serendipitous impulse buying.

And no, that was not an overwhelming urge, or you would've used your original title ;)

I stumbled on this quite by accident: before Jurgen Kreckel "retired" and started repairing cameras he was the foremost maker of museum replica quality matchlock firearms in the US
heres his site if you want a repair:

There is no way [livejournal.com profile] arkady is old enough to have teenage offspring.
