Tuesday was Bisexual Underground. Met encephelopathy, who was tipped off by ashbet to look out for me.

Friday night I went to I Love The '90s with nyecamden at Carling Academy Islington. Nye got pissed off at me being snobbish about the likely crowd, though I submit there was a fair bit to be snobbish about. We had a couple of pints at his local before going to the venue, where the available drink was Guinness or urine. The music from 11-12 was mostly Britpop and pretty good. From 12-1 it was stuff from the hideous wasteland that was the charts in the late '90s. I wore way too much PVC and looked like Lucius Malfoy as a camp sci-fi villain. We had a jolly good night out.

Saturday I got home late afternoon and spent the rest of my afternoon and evening with arkady and redcountess. Today I have spent most of the day asleep. I'm presently ripping Freda's DVDs to computer so she doesn't destroy them utterly.

My MP3 player (the one steer wanted to smash to bits with a toffee hammer) has died horribly — Freda's broken the headphone socket so that plugging headphones in doesn't switch off the speaker. So I'll need a new one of those and leave that one for Freda. My birthday's this week if anyone's feeling especially generous ... or, indeed, has a cheap MP3 player they too hate so much they'd just love to inflict it on me.

Afraid not! It wasn't the sort of event where I'd want to remember what people looked like. However, I've managed to rebook my on-call so I'm going to Vagabonds this month after all, and I'll probably wear the same :-D
