Saturday is Cleaning Day! Today it finally clicked that the reason I collapse gasping every time I attempt a serious clean here is because the house is so foul that disturbing the foulness at all kicks it up and into my lungs. This is not a reason to desist, however. Does anyone have recommendations for paid cleaners? Or, better yet, a desire to accept cash for house cleaning?

It's been a dull week and no mistake. Also, we're broke, so no Reptile for me. Also, I've spent the week in plant bukkake exhaustion anyway.

Reasons to copy all your entries from LJ to DW: there's text search for individual journals here (on paid ones). Refreshing after not even Google working reliably on LJ. Now all I need is to *cough* pay for my DW account. Update: A month paid for by [personal profile] damned_colonial *smooooch*

Just throwing in a vote of sympathy. :-| Stirring up the dust and assorted other allergenic crap is one of the major reasons our house is a sty ATM. Leaving it there really doesn't help, but neither does getting asthma attacks and itching all over every time I stir it up. (Or Ingvar does, or...) The proper mask suggestions sound good--a regular dust mask helps me some, but something heavier-duty ought to work a lot better. I had to get a dark giggle out of the "every minute of the day" one.

Even though we're in moving limbo ATM, I've still been considering investing in a couple of HEPA room filtration units to make it slightly more possible to get the shit cleared out so we can, erm, move.

Hope you find something that helps!
