I am not out tonight with nyecamden and the Gay Perverts of Not Terribly Good Spelling; arkady's back was so painful she was crippled, so I'm at home being DAD-Dad, the superhero with the powers of a DAD. Washing done, kid played with and fed, older teenager fed with small amount of actual conversation as opposed to grunts, copious red wine drunk. Date Sunday night, we expect.

arkady yet again went out without Freda kicking off. You can start inviting her to things now.

Oh wow. You really have adapted, haven't you? I figured maybe it was actually hot in London, but looking at weather-stuff the reported temperatures are more like a comfortable Autumn day back here in Melbourne. :)

If 26degC is a hot day, maybe I should consider moving...

I have air conditioning right here. Last year, I picked up a clearance unit that was evidently intended for an office instead, and it'll knock 5-10C off the temperature, no problem.

Ironically, I've not bothered to turn it on recently because I've finally got used to the heat.

I have no air conditioning, at least not at home. But yeah, I can't imagine Rialto Towers or Melbourne Central being a bundle of fun even in the spring without aircon -- the building was designed with it in mind.

There's also the rather extreme humidity here to consider. Saying that, I didn't find the weekend to be too bad, the wind was presumably in a direction that didn't carry a shedload of moisture towards me.
