• ladylilith and I survived Whitby, in style. God fucking DAMN I had a great weekend. I find myself unable to post in public many of the reasons I particularly enjoyed this one.

• I have a bed! Or a mattress. That's one 180cm x 200cm mattress, not two half-ones. Now for bed linen. Ali got a new one over the weekend too. Anyone wanting a single bed or two, free for taking the damn things away, should get in touch.

• It's official: living ten minutes from my tube station is really pissing me off. Got soaked this morning and still smell like a puddle.

• androktone, hythloday: no cocktail night this Thursday, housemates won't be around. Bah. Next week some time?

One that's in a car park, going stale, the day after. I always thought that was the smell of car parks, but evidently it's the smell of whatever the fuck is in London rain itself. I wonder what the umbrellas here are made of, and whether the one I bought in Whitby will be up to the task. I suppose I should get it out and see if it's disintegrated.

Did I mention that the room I'm currently living in only has room for a single bed? And rampling gets here tomorrow. It should be an interesting week...
