See listing. A trad-goth night ("NO TECHNO! NO EBM!") the week before Tenebrae. I plan to go from work to a pub with the Purists, change somewhere along the way (let's make the Gossips cloakroom work for our money), get pished and then rock up to Gossips. Anyone else going?

I have no particular ambition to attend Slimelight this week unless someone convinces me. Anyone? Bueller?

I was actually wondering if you in particular would attend - your trad looks combining with a strange fondness for Mesh. But then, I blithely suffer the jeers of my fellow eldsters whenever I admit that VNV Nation are probably my favourite current goth band. So I shall see you there, then. And this time I will say hello and go "ooh! at your new piercings.

what's with this 'Bueller' business anyway? I assume the reference is to Ferris and his Day Off, but I'm not sure why it keep coming up in reference to cat/goth herding.

It's the roll call scene from ferris and his day off. Hence, useful for rollcalling goths, because much like cats, and Bueller, they're never bloody there when they should be.

Mind you, last time I aimed to get there at ten I arrived at 11:35. Bah.

What are your lot doing beforehand? Meeting at a pub may be entirely suitable. Dev? Whateveritis across City Road?

Steve and I should be going. It clashes with the Exit Club bash, so I'm not sure what the turnout will be like.

Yes, I'm very annoyed with the timing on that one ... however, the Exit Club is a one-off happenstance, whereas this is the first tentative night of a new club. So could do with encouragement. Unless it's crap, of course.
