Down the pub Tuesday evening with Ingvar, who was happy to provide me with birthday pints in exchange for someone to tell about his day at work who would understand a damn thing he was talking about. (This being the fundamental force that drives sysadmins to gather in pubs.) I am so broke. In fact, I am forty pounds overdrawn, which probably constitutes my induction into the British middle classes. As such, I will not in fact be going out Wednesday evening. Or Thursday evening. Will stop in at Pure on Friday. Then home until I'm paid on Tuesday. yaaay ...

This proves the boots are in fact cursed. As such, I will have to wear them out at every opportunity.
