I have the interview in Oxford, 12 noon Friday. sushidog and diffrentcolours are too bloody dedicated to skive off work when I get out of there ("probably an hour or two") - anyone want to meet up to entertain me for a few hours, say, threeish at a suitable pub (that someone with no knowledge of Oxford and no map can find)? In other news, I got a message from the world of nepotism saying 'hey, call HR again and ask them to send up your CV' and, ten minutes later, one from said HR person saying 'your application has been round-filed for future reference'. So we'll have to see what undue influence can do to recover the situation.

Update, 6:21pm: Undue influence has duly unduly influenced, and I have an interview tomorrow afternoon at four. Cross fingers for me, kids, and you can buy me a celebratory drink at the Sluts meet.

Today's paper has a job at Bath Uni for a SysAdmin...£29,000PA.

Depending on where you live, it's a lot cheaper to live in Bristol than in London or Oxford.

You didn't answer Jodi's query...are you going to the gig at the Underworld Saturday night? We will be there (me, Jodi, Jason, and, Scary Lady Sarah!)

Well, gosh! Er, I fear I won't be - I remain poorer than a poor thing, and can't really afford Slimelight either. But if I don't go I'll start killing things with an axe, so it's best I do.
