reddragdivaStill at work on the Great Whitby Novel, adding bits as they float to the top of my memory. In the meantime, it's a beautiful spring day, there's a Pure dinner this evening and I've just bought a very nice new black silk tie (the old one having gone to Heaven for Ties quite some time ago). Tie Rack actually have a 25% trade-in offer on your old tie at the moment, so it's time to clear out the disaster pile.
We have Internet again. kppp appears to be composed of mouse droppings, so I bothered with pppd config files. We probably want Eclipse for our DSL, but their dialup offerings are teh suxx0r (no FRIACO at all). Stopped in at the pub last night to return excy's camera and download my photos and burn them to a CD over beers. (Technomentalism or what?) The very first CD, in fact, that Russ had burnt on his shiny new 12" AlBook. OH MY FUCKING GOD I WANT THIS THING. AND SO DO YOU. The photos are largely fantastic, by the way. Hello also to erzibet, moopet and valleygirl66.
Today, Liz is taking on the bureaucracy. God bless the NHS! I hope we will both be at the Liquid Lab this evening.
I also have mircea's trousers here. And I would just like to stress to the very pure peoples reading this esteemed journal that it is an ENTIRELY innocent thing that we found Danielle's trousers in my bedroom at Whitby, and that Danielle and I maintained a CHASTE and WHOLESOME relationship all the way through said festival of debauchery. And that nothing IN ANY WAY UNTOWARD or IMPROPER can be said to have occurred between us in our sexy little holiday cottage. Even when she was changing into that rubber dress and I took one million pictures of her soon after. (Once she had FINISHED properly changing, of COURSE.) As I so painstakingly explained to Liz when she discovered said trousers on my side of the bed. I will be bringing them tonight so that all may inspect Danielle's and my PROPER and DECENT relationship. NO STAINS! That I had anything to do with putting there, anyway.
