The weekend in precis.

Thursday night: A couple of drinks with arkady at the Purple Turtle, then home to redcountess. Lounged around the PC of d00m.

Friday: Demolished the horrible closet in the hallway ("It's not on the inventory? Oh, good ..."), apparently with an expression of tremendous glee. Then a lovely day of wandering around the nice bit of Walthamstow with redcountess and arkady. We managed to actually visit a doctor and make an appointment to register! Returned via two pubs. Saw Rose off at the station, bumped into <lj shadowperson=jess> there.

Saturday: Road trip to Milton Springsteen for the sushidog Festival. More detail in another post.

Sunday: Return from Milton Springsteen to Camden - the Dev, then the Odeon for X-Men 2. Which was really pretty good for nerd fodder.

Monday: Paperwork in the morning, then a day out with arkady in Winchmore Hill. Met the ratties. An unbelievably nice dinner at a pub, then to the park for silly faggy-looking goth photos. At least one will be a powerful incentive to lose the gut.

We are so fucking broke. As in, eighty-five quid to last the month. We are not going out anywhere. No B-Movie, no Dead and Buried, perhaps one Pure meet. (Followups of "But you must come to X!" will be missing the essential point in the first sentence. Sexual favours in return for complete nights out for us notwithstanding.) The wedding will be delayed by lack of the cash to register. I fear Liz's budgeting skills were on the ahahaha money. Bah.

yeah, like a picnic in Highgate Cemetery. Everybody can just bring a lunchbox and some bevvies from the offie.... Not exactly a "no money" outing, but a lot cheaper than sitting in the pub or going to a restaurant! ;)

I have the same lot of problems as well, and I've been off without sick pay for a week, so it will be even worse next month :( Bah. I just pretend to myself that it is okay because I am working.
