Running about 80% not dead, I went to Dead and Buried last night in my
tarting clothes. (The other 20% are my lungs and brain, but the outfit made
up for that. "I may be dumb, but I'm pretty, I cook and I put out!")
redcountess is as sick as a sick thing, so it was just
arkady and me.
Dead and Buried appears to be gaining popularity. It's almost deserted until midnight, when people suddenly appear from nowhere. But I recommend to you the early hours, when you can have the dancefloor to yourself to jump up and down to punk in black. Though I certainly wasn't even going to attempt such a thing. Cough, hack.
The light over the usual Pure table was off, so we hid in the alcove
down the stairs. Much chat and drinking.
arkady's camera was
our endless amusement for the evening.
The outfit was, yet again, a major hit.

adventurous on the skirt. The things I'll do for a pint. Although
I will not do anything for a pint - specifically, I will not do the
short fat guy at the bar with long hair and his shirt off, exposing his
luscious sweaty form. Ew.
We also assisted some young persons with a snogging competition they were conducting. It's good to help further the course of science. Photographic evidence to follow. And it seems to have been a good night for snogging in general.
Going out to be an appalling past-it old club tart is one of the things that makes life quite, quite wonderful.
Remember how I told you all to go to the show tonight? Apart from having a sick Liz to cuddle and cherish, I fell asleep at 3pm, woke up at 7pm, coughed my guts out and threw up. I think going out at all last night may have been overdoing it. Not that I regret a moment.
