Still not quite 100% not dead. I feel okayish, if somewhat short of breath, but have a terrible hacking cough to the point of making my throat bleed. Just call me Typhoid Diva.

Tuesday I took soup and toast to arkady, who appears to have what redcountess has (a variation on what I, and half of London, appear to have). She is threatening to obtain a PVC nurse's uniform for me. Liz likes the idea too. It seems I am to be conspired against. (Comments involving Br'er Rabbit and briar patches may be kept to yourselves.)

Rose got me to try on the white kitty ears with sequins. I looked like a bloody f*rry and removed them immediately. Rose says that if I wear them, f*rries will hit on me. I think I shall be continuing to consider f*rriness a minor flaw in otherwise wonderful individuals on a case-by-case basis.

Last night arkady came over to Walthamstow and she, redcountess and I watched The Matrix on telly - my first viewing. Light on plot, way heavy on eye candy. I see what the fuss is about, would love to see this in the cinema and eagerly look forward to going out to see Matrix: Reloaded. The Animatrix was really good too. (I'm sure the goosebumps on the backside were particularly lovingly rendered.)
