Today I set up redcountess's X to recognise the scroll wheel on the optical mouse (which is 'l33t3r 'cos it's a black one) and helped arkady fill in a doctor's questionnaire. I discovered that basmati rice is unspeakably good with my tuna tomato sauce that's normally meant for pasta. I had two fifteen-minute sessions on the Office Stairmaster (up and down sixteen floors), and increasing my heart rate and metabolism in this manner actually seemed to help keep my brain from falling out of my head with boredom. Then twenty minutes' walk from Knightsbridge to Green Park 'cos the Picc was fucked, of course. I made a new icon. It's been a good day.

It was originally part of a Usenet thread on astrology (with serpentstar, who's a fan of the stuff, and sushidog, who is a sceptic and was bored). It's really a very witty line if you're me.

It's not just you either. We used to have a useful diagram on the door at Chemistry which looked a bit like this
