Kiiilllll meeee.
Dec. 15th, 2003 12:52 pmNeither
redcountess nor I slept much at all last night, and
I was so unwell this morning it actually frightened her. The fever broke around 9am, I dragged
myself out of bed to go to the doctor (it's a virus, wait until I'm better)
and I'm feeling quite a bit more human. Though I may lie down again soon. Liz
rescheduled her appointment for Thursday.
I can see why Liz has had endless trouble with this GP clinic - they're insanely busy and really only set up to be medical first-line support. They like simple problems that don't stress their abilities. Anyone with a complicated problem will foul up their statistics.

Date: 2003-12-15 09:47 am (UTC)I can appreciate why 50% (fifty percent!) of NHS doctors want to do something else for a living. One doesn't spend one's life wanting to be a doctor, then several years of medical school and internship, to become a powerless customer service representative.

Date: 2003-12-15 10:15 am (UTC)Ahh yes, the joys of NHS... Has almost been strangled as badly as medicare and limps along purely on the Florence Nightengale attitude of the medical profession....
Good luck to you... Eat!
