Madam had pulled out one of her stitches, but arkady, despite running on three hours' sleep, dashed over to assist, dabbed it with antiseptic and a paper stitch (stick-on, very handy) and got the bucket back on her head! And boy was Madam unhappy about that.

Arkady and redcountess then spent the afternoon and early evening cooing over dollies, and have just bought from Luts a Delf Mature body, a Delf Boy body and a pair of 18mm soft green acrylic eyes. So Arkady's Eric and Liz's forthcoming dollie will both have bodies! I think I have been dollied. This might be a downside of polyamory. At least they're lucky, apparently.

Arkady also finally opened her Christmas Coincidental December Present from _nicolai_ — a comprehensive screwdriver set! Including ... a 9mm Torx driver that got that bastard screw out of my laptop! And this might be an upside. Love you, darlings!

I'm finally ready to catch that Dot-Com wave! I've just bought davidgerard.co.uk and reddragdiva.co.uk, which should go live in the next 24 hours, once the DNS propagates. At present the first redirects to my page on Thingy and the second redirects to my LiveJournal. I'll probably do actual sites for them in cosmic time; your suggestions on useful or interesting things to do with them are welcomed.

(.co.uk domains are about six quid for two years. I use 123-reg.co.uk, who let you do everything with a web form and have clueful humans answering the tech support mail. They've been remarkably painless to deal with.)

I have nothing to do with davidgerard.com, which appears to be a Web-operated camera looking out on the back yard of some fellow of the same name in Maine. Gosh!
