Being a genius, I have the Featured Article on Uncyclopedia today: KITTENHOEFFER magazine stand.

The KITTENHOEFFER magazine stand by IKEA is one of the finest, clearest and most popular design examples of self-assembly furniture ever devised. Costs are saved by the assembly not being performed in the factory, and by greatly reduced volumes for shipping and storage by the distributor and retailer. It comes in flat-packs, with instructions that are clear and diagrammatical. You do have to get through IKEA without KILLING EACH OTHER AND EVERYONE AROUND YOU, and WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU THINKING GOING TO IKEA ON A WEEKEND AFTERNOON, but that's a small price to pay for Scandinavian design excellence. Ingvar Kamprad was personally responsible for this one, you know.

Still waiting on Fountainhead Earth getting the votes. You can check my other works of genius at my Uncyclopedia user page.

I've never had any difficulty putting IKEA furniture together (which includes beds, sofas, shelving and other furniture).

Maybe it's just you?

You just don't like IKEA.
By the way it's perfectly bearable after about 17:30 on a Saturday because then everything else is closed around it so all the people who "go shopping for an afternoon out" have fucked off back home, leaving the store to those of us who know what we're doing and have something to do.

Diva just doesn't like shopping, period. Next time you come over we must check out Edmonton Ikea - the crowds would have died down by now.

Or just died, underfoot...

My Edmonton-based girlfriend assures me that the crowds have indeed died down now. I think I'll still stay clear, despite her assurances that their food is worth a visit for.

quite noteworthy.

I've passed it onto Ansible (http://www.ansible.co.uk). where the SF gods may give you their equivalnet of a slashdotting.

Nebraska also has cattle, which eat some of the corn, and provide tasty steaks. They are the primary reason that people don't just give up on Nebraska (c.f. South Dakota).

Watch this (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/data/toons/kenya3.swf). Then read the Nebraska entry. It will make more sense.
