Being a muppet, I ran out of Cipramil on Sunday and won't get more until tomorrow. So I've been cold-turkeying, which means various whacky combinations of the side-effects and their opposites in reverse. My metabolism has gone back down and I'm staring into space and going "buh." I'm craving sugar and fat. (OH NOES!!) Two and a half hours to get ready for work this morning, mostly putting off moving. Going back on, I expect little to no sleep for a few days.

My laptop bag zip finally died on Friday after eight years' abuse, so I'm borrowing another from [livejournal.com profile] arkady. Everything fits but it weighs a ton and the Dell badges all over say "STEAL ME." Now seeking a replacement that is not only light but looks suitably crappy. Suggestions?

Dinner then Dev with Arkady on Sunday. Dinner is not quite compatible with corsetry. Her new doll Taliesin got lots of attention. The heating was out at her place so we had a lovely night at 1°C. Though it reached 2° by 7:30am. She didn't get it working last night either, so came over to stay with us. We did have to change the sheets and Febreze and flip the mattress because of a kitten pee puddle. (MITTENS. PIE.) This morning I cruelly turned them out after breakfast to get rained on and shall be doing so after every meal henceforth, no matter if it's hailing golfballs with three inches of ice on the ground.

We have a USB 2.0 card and more memory for [livejournal.com profile] redcountess' computer. Oddly, 192MB seems to have been enough for it to compile ports completely CPU-bound, hardly touching the swap. But 640MB will still be nice for running KDE or (especially) GNOME.
