I think in many cases the problem is with women who don't actually like (i.e. are happy to be friends with) men, don't fancy women but still want a partner (otherwith they'll be single - a fate worse than death, fatness or clashing handbag and shoes). Then they expect the man to act as an honourary female and get all surprised and upset when their boyfriend asks like, well, a boy.

I'm sure there's a converse problem.

My current theory is that many people, women more than men although there are plenty of those too, are actually addicted to relationships, just as if they were a drug and particularly in terms of (a) the effects of withdrawal (b) the junkie-like transparent rationalisations. (b) is the source of a great deal of crazy.

Kyle's theory:

Women crave abuse.

Men go for the crazy.

Therefore, women will pick men who give them the right flavor of abuse (which isn't *exactly* the right word . . . neglect, or distance, or picking-on, will do just as well), then they will go crazy, then men will love them until they get too crazy, in which case they'll move on to the next woman.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.
Guys get more loopy sex than women do. When I was 17 I was told by this guy "Hey I keep a Bible by my bed for a reason you know." What? He only came to Fellowship to pick up girls! Then a couple of years ago I heard on the grapevine that his marriage to the girl he'd been with since he was 19 had ended when she found irrefutable proof that he'd been seeing prostitutes.
