I lost my virginity to the sounds of the Birthday Party's 4AD singles collection. Continued inept attempts at sex over the next few hours were to Forever Now by the Psychedelic Furs.

(Post-punk is a surprisingly good shagging soundtrack, considering at the time it was my soundtrack to not getting laid.)

Hmm, don't think there was any musical accompaniment the first time. Or the next few, for that matter; had nipped back to my student houseshare for a weekend in the summer so nobody else was there. On the occasion of our second meeting it was Bruce Springsteen's The Rising, the album have gone round the loop two or three times before a suitable break in proceedings was found to turn it off. Hrm.
