After a day of drinking and listening to various 60's garage punk it was lost in silence (well relatively speaking). Considering it ranged from the backyard trampoline to the bathtub to the bunk beds a soundtrack may have been somewhat awkward since we were in the age of vinyl. I think the quality of post-punk as shagging soundtrack depends on the particular flavour of post-punk. Joy Division surprisingly good. I can't imagine Psychedelic Furs being much cop for me, but The Cure have always been quite good. Except "Faith", which is emphatically a non-shagging album for me.
