I like shopping, really I do. I can wander Camden for hours, billing and cooing at the pretty things. It's crap I despise, and Brent Park is where crap goes to breed.

It is, however, a convenient bus ride from my house, so it's where ladylilith and I went for unfortunately necessary consumerist badness and to rub shoulders with the local suburban trash. Who are identical to Australian suburban trash, and undoubtedly suburban trash from anywhere else in the world.

Consumer items scored: a toaster (two long slots), black fitted sheet and pillowcase (black sheet, purple quilt - my bed looks so 'l33t), handkerchiefs, face cloth, tights and the December issue of Vogue.

We were there for two hours and it felt like only four.

Phhht, you haven't seen white trash until you've been to Merseyside.
Once you've seen the vermin who roam the streets up here you'll be thanksful for the kinda trash you have down in London :P

Hmmm, that's a good question actually.
But I'm willing to bet that they're better at staying on the dole and nicking cars. :)

I was staying in Romford for a while before moving to Hendon. Essex trash are even better (for strange and twisted values of 'better') than the Brent Park trash.

At least Brent Park doesn't have dogshit all over every footpath.
