Walthamstow flat hunting was productive. The first flat was small but otherwise lovely, and we're going for it. Stopped by the Dev on the way home and, of course, was there for hours - j0 to [livejournal.com profile] avalon_bliss, [livejournal.com profile] tintintin, [livejournal.com profile] greap, [livejournal.com profile] perverse_idol, [livejournal.com profile] gothicbarbiecat, [livejournal.com profile] cyberpunkgrrl, [livejournal.com profile] darcy_, Fallen, Rachel, probably a zillion others I've forgotten ... The camera decided to play up, but came good by the end of the evening. One day someone will get a pic of [livejournal.com profile] gothicbarbiecat not pulling a face.

By Saturday evening I'd worked out I'd caught [livejournal.com profile] arkady's cold. *blerk* Up far too early Sunday morning to fetch [livejournal.com profile] redcountess. We walked several miles back and forth through the bowels of Heathrow Airport but eventually found coffee, cake and a taxi home.

I proceeded to sleep all day. Then sleep all night. I am only at work now so as to save on phone calls from my coworkers. KILLL MEEE.

But I have the girl here!

Update: Liz says she's making dinner tonight, since I'm even sicker than she is. These Australian mail-order brides are good value.

Walhalla? We wish!!! At this stage, next year will be the earliest we can afford to come back, so maybe we can coincide that with Walhall if it's on again.
