Today's Twitter experiment, prompted by bob: use the words "social media" or the hashtag "#socialmedia" and see how long it takes for social media pundits and other such wankers to auto-follow you. Then block them for using auto-add software like the spammers they are. I got one FIVE SECONDS after my first test. (Name and shame: @adamcoomes.) Please popularise hashtag "#socialmediawankers".

Today is hairdye day! The younger teenager decided yesterday that she wanted to go from dyed black to white blonde. What could possibly go wrong? She ended up perfect ginger, except the bleach-yellow roots. Applied another dose of bleach today and it didn't change a thing except making the roots lighter. I have a pack of chemist ash-blonde I'm donating to the cause. I'm sure frying her hair and having it crumble into dust will be most educational. arkady is making her fringe light purple and the back extremely purple. Freda is just drawing in black pen all over her hands and clothes.

I've been enjoying taking Freda for walks on the reins. Took her down the shops just now — if she isn't exhausted after that, then it's not possible. Mum says she used to take me out on reins, though I don't remember it at all. I'm surprised she didn't keep me in a cage.

*laughs* Remember when I did exactly the same thing, before I cut it all short? The difference being, I suppose, that I really liked the ginger and have since considered dying my hair black again to bleach it right away as they don't seem to do dye in quite that colour...

No, they don't! It's a really orangey ginger too. Trouble being it's brown in bits and bleach-yellow in others.

I went canary yellow in Year 12. Magic Silver White solved the problem although when I put too much in it looked like a granny's mauve rinse.
