Home at last!

Now living the suburban high life in Hendon (NW4). Ten minutes' walk to the Tube, an hour's commute (door to desk) to work. Convenient to civilisation, i.e. Camden. No PC at home, hence no access to my usual email addresses, Usenet or IRC haunts for the time being.

Now to actually get my stuff shipped over from Australia ...

I need to buy a bed in fairly short order. Advice welcomed. I'm thinking queen-size futon in the first instance.

Bed & Bath section: "Abolish boredom in the bedroom with our range of quilt covers, pillowcases and cushions." What, are they impregnated with pheromones?

I've come up against Ikea beds before. ladylilith's is an utter bastard to reassemble after a move ...

OTOH, I've joined LiveJournal, so it's not like I can claim to have any principles left.
