Home at last!

Now living the suburban high life in Hendon (NW4). Ten minutes' walk to the Tube, an hour's commute (door to desk) to work. Convenient to civilisation, i.e. Camden. No PC at home, hence no access to my usual email addresses, Usenet or IRC haunts for the time being.

Now to actually get my stuff shipped over from Australia ...

I need to buy a bed in fairly short order. Advice welcomed. I'm thinking queen-size futon in the first instance.

We've killed a couple of IKEA wooden futon frames so far - the actual futons themselves are fine though.

Our current futons which appear to be holding out quite well have come from a place local-ish to Cambridge who make some nice stuff. AFAIAA this is the place: http://www.futoncompany.co.uk/
